This driver software is something that Seagate and Paragon have agreed in partnership to allow (compatible) Seagate hard drives to be able to read and write for free using NTFS format. This driver software has nothing to do with the trail/paid version available via Paragon's official website. I ran the installation and after hitting the 'restart' button, I got the grey screen with a circular ticker. I did the free trial for Paragon NTFS for Mac 12. You have to make sure you are using a compatible hard drive but also you HAVE TO FULLY UNINSTALL any previous versions from your Mac then install the linked version after that and follow the on screen install guide. so I did something foolish and installed this software without fully reading the reviews about how bad it is.
